The theme sunset in my own words, I think that if your not just taking a picture of one thing, but the same thing, it will give more variety to the photo. The lighting on the sunset outdoors that you take it on counts too. I chose Paul Reiffer whose takes pictures of outside/sunsets, like my theme. He takes many pictures of sunsets and almost like time travel into it. My images show my theme of sunset/landscape, with the variety of different colors. The lighting of them. The different ways that the sun is placed as well in the image. Like you could do, you making something with the rainbow in the picture.
My photos have colorful backgrounds, also the lighting is good. It is focused on my object that I am taking the picture of. Description: My photos were based on a theme that I wanted to revisit. I like the focal point but also landscape theme. Analysis: I think my photos have a strong focus point, as well as color. Interpretation: I think that the variety of colors I have in this project are well done. I tried to make sure that they were different from the very first time we did it. Judgement: I think that my photos were successful. There isn't a distracting background. Lots of variety, and also my photos arent blurry either.

Ice Cream in a cone Stephan McMennam is a artist who takes images, he is also a director. From getting introduced to various sites, Stephens photographs became viral. Combophotos. I do like his artwork. I think it is very interesting how many things you can just think of and put together. My image looks like his because I took two different images and cut them in half. I put them together to just make one. I think that my homage is succuessful. I think that if I were to have possibly a little different background it might be different but I like this image. Description: These photos were taken on my trip to Tennessee. The Ark photo was taken in Kentuckey right before the border line of TN. We stayed in a hotel, that is the decorative building/walkway image.
Analysis: I like these pictures, and the state TN. There are pictures of like houses burnt down and parts of like cars and everything from the fire that happened in Gatlingburg. Not to far from where I was staying, in Pigeon, Forge. Interpretation: I think that these images were pretty well taken pictures. The houses burnt and stuff might not be the best, but you couldnt get to up close to have a focused picture but I tried my best. Judgment: I think that my pictures were successful. My favorite picture would be the ark. I tried to get the words and everything off the image but thats the only thing that I would change about my pictures. I could have maybe got more on the way home but they would have been dark, and probably blurry. Description: This theme is food. My photos have some texture in them, as well as light that shines on food/objects as well.
Analysis: I used texture with the eggs, and the marshmallows and I think actuall just all my images. The marshmallows are in the bag, which I like. Interpretation: I just found the food around my house and seen like the light hitting them just right. My favorite would be the carton of eggs. Judgement: I think that my pictures are successful. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out like what to take pictures of, I had to focus on these as well. It made it better. I changed the colors on some of the writing so it would look/stand out better. I didnt put filters on any of these. It made the images look blurry. But these just came off the top of my head. No lyrics or anything. I feel like some of the text did make a couple of the images better but some made it almost distracting. I change the color on some to see if it would look better like on the dog one, she had a pink collar so I thought it would be fine. My chair mat, I didnt like how this turned out at all.
Pinterest my food photography.
1.Focus on your image 2.Not distracting background 3.Keeping the food looking fresh On my pinterest board, they kinda have like a movement in them also. Like pouring chocolate on ice cream. Texture is in my images I saved. Lots of colors. I feel like some things like melting food, like butter or even ice cream are pretty interesting food photographs. But also like burgers and sandwiches with like a toasted bun, some seasoning on the burger could be very interesting with the texture in them. Pinterest
Description: These are mood images. They are taken here at the school and some of these are like, cold, sad, happy/excited, and the one he didnt except me to take it but I did. Analysis: These are all like still images execpt for Logan and the one of Emma like walking. I tried to get them to stay still so that these images werent blurry but it turned out good. Interpretation: I came up with these ideas by just watching what people do. Like you can tell on facial expressions on how somebody feels most of the time. Judgement: I think my photos are successful but I could have taken some at home with like family members, but withmy friends they show more expressions sometimes. In school some of the kids get bored or even frustrated. It was easy to capture these. I was experiencing like my mood was very thankful for like what I have. I felt really sorry for these kids and adults that have to go through this. Some people think that its funny but if they were really in that situation they would think differently. When Lisa was talking about how her camera was even to hot to take pictures and she had to go cool it off, that made me kinda sad that like the camera is even getting hot. Lisa like used the background and one light/candle that maybe they dont have and used that. They didnt smile which im not sure when they would if they are always working that harsh place. The most powerful to me was when the little boy or little girl didnt smile and was just like almost posing because she was so sad. The story behind the image was to be grateful for what you have, we could help these kids somehow I belive. But also the image of this one guy like in this hole. She said that they were down here for like 17 hours at a time.
Description: My word is Bat. It was really hard to do but I did. I did pick something little but its fine. These are all 26 of my alphabet photos. I took these throught my house and the school. I think this theme was farely hard but at the same time it was pretty easy.
Analysis: These photos took some time to think about. Like with my clock it made a w. I really had to this about this theme and how I could make letters out of the alphabet. Interpretation: I think these photos turned outt [retty well even though that some of them are really blurry. When I got really close to the object it must not of focused on it well enough before I clicked it. Judgment: I didnt nessary think that these photos were the best that I took, but they worked for this project as it was. My photos were blurry in some. Miniature Photography-Nix+Gerber. I chose this camping photography that Nix and Gerber did. I found this really interesting. It stood out to me the most, not just because I like camping, but like the water, with the canoe that it kinda in it. The rock is very small and the logs with the texture that was on the same page with like the forest has a lot of detail and texture in this. The water look so realistic. It is like at night in this image. But I really like the fire. It stand out to me a lot. Just like the littlest things that they do is so amazing.
Description: My photos represent shadow. I took these photos at my house at all different angles with the lighting as well. Darker areas and lighter areas.
Analysis: I used just a regular house light, no flashlights. I cut out the piece that says think out of paper and then held it up from the floor of my house. Interpretation: My favorite photo of shadow would the word think. It took a lot of time to do, but after I did it, it turned out really cool. Judgement: I feel like my photo pictures were really good. I had time to think of ideas at home and take them. Ideas from pinterest helped as well. Description: All of these photos represent my animals at home. I have my three dogs, my bird, and my hamster. These photos were taken at my house. None of them are in black and white.
Analysis: All of these photos were taken with my camera at home. I think these are really good photos of my animals. They don't like to sit still so for me to get these photos I think they look good. My bird doesn't stop moving and so this was kinda a action picture as well. Interpretation: I think these photos were well taken I just think that if I was in one or two of the pictures with them besides the one, it would have made them a little better. Judgment: I could have been with my animals, like showing how I interact with them or something. But the picture with my dog, the biggest one, she is crossing her legs, and I taught her how to do that. She listens to me. I think it is very unique now, because she will sleep like that sometimes also. Paul Nicklen animal photography. He traveled to Antarctica and took many photos there of animals. I would go somewhere where it snows but I wouldn't like go in the water and go under water and things. I feel like it would be really cool to just be with animals that of course you don't see everyday. Going and seeing these animals would be so cool. I would want to maybe go somewhere warm but still really cold and stay there for a while. I feel like wolves would be so cool to take pictures of and there families. Go to the tundra to find these animals. Pinterest Board
Description: These are my four photos for portrait this week. They involve formal, candid, environmental, and faceless. Zach, Logan, Robert and Ms. Dekett helped build my portrait photos.
Analysis: I took these at the school. I thought that the environmental one was kinda hard but then I got to really thinking about it and I just took one here at school as her being a teacher. Interpretation: I feel as if these portrait photos were okay. I think again I could have tried and took some at home, but it was more a rush on trying to find the right object/people. Judgement: I feel that I did really bad on my portrait pictures. But with the time that I had and the way I made it so that some of them didn't know, I feel they were okay photos. If I was a photographer and I was shooting fifty shades of gay, I would have more than one person in my photos. Not making them to the point where no one wants to see these but. I would never be a photographer, just my opinion. But if I had to I think it would just be super interesting on how it would go. Many people think that pictures cant tell a lot but it really can. Just because of someones face and there hair doesn't mean that they are gay or anything. Images by the women above were well taken. Women should be able to hold there baby in the hospital. People should be able to tell stories about this someday.
Description: All of my photos for framing were taken at home except for two. The one picture with like the hamper really messed up. It didn't turn out as well as I hoped.
Analysis: I really like my photos except for the hamper one. My favorite is the one with my bird or the one with the Nike head band. Interpretation: These photos were appose to represent framing photos that like surround and image, or object that like surrounds it. Judgment: I believe that these photos were really good, I took more at home. There's only two that were at the school and i'm still working on getting more to take at home. Chris Burkard is a surf photographer. If I was to wake up tomorrow and I could be a professional photographer I would be a photographer and take pictures of horses but with like in the country side with mountains. I feel like I could take many photos of horses. I love horses and for me to just be able to take pictures of them would be really cool. I would go many places around the world and try to take good pictures of them. I would risk the cold of the places I go. Along that line. But I really like watching the video of this guy. He was very interesting and the things he did were really cool.
Description: These photos were taken at the school. Emma and Logan are the ones who are in the image. I really like the second one. I backed up like down the hallway more that way it looked like he was actually pushing the wall.
Analysis: The third image I believe with Emma, I rotated the image that way it kinda looked like she was sitting on the wall. Interpretation: I really like these photos but I think I could have taken more time on them. I really wish I would have tried and took some at home. Judgment: With these photos they were appose to represent force perspective. I had five images of them. When I was taking these, I didn't take as much time as I wish I could have. The Video has three different types of occult. The one above shows spirits, fluid, and medium. There are many different like shadows in this image. Spirits-shadows. Fluid- and medium can work together.
This is my computer mat for my chair. It was black and white from the start then I started to add some filters with it. I clicked on a couple different ones but I really like the vintage one. After that I used primos. It kinda gave it color like in the corners but it also made the light that was in the picture kind of go with the color. It made it have more color and look glossy at some point
Mac Stone--Mac Stones photos show a lot of color but also some of them are like in the swamp or even just over like a lake. The water with like the trees reflect off of it. Story telling is important because it tells where things came from. Also he is using communications tool because it show how ecosystems are being destroyed. Some stories are like about that one swamp that is effected and destroyed.
I really like how this image and this site has made so many projects and this one is really cool. Just turning a regular photo into something different. I would use this again for other pictures as well.
These are the photos that I had chosen for my black and white filters on Pixlr. The trees and clouds were at my house and then just my dog by my driveway. Which was going to adjustment then contrast, then to saturation. The dog one I used just the too old one then picked from there. I think the dog one is better off in color, just because it almost made the image look blurry. But the one image of my dog, I like both. The tree one I sorta like.
Authentic self means who you are on the inside not the outside. Like someone who you are not trying to be and your real self.
Bryce's photographs make a comment on a mental because someone who has depression, and someones personal level. When Bryce says that photos allow you to connect instantly on a unconscious level because pictures say a lot words, a story behind it. Not saying anything. Description: All of these photos are black and white images that I had took. Some are at the school, and at my house. I choose two different methods like by choosing the filter before taking the image and choosing the filter afterwards.
Analysis: I took all of these photos and then changed them to black and white. But these photos represent black and white images once were color but some of them have a shadow too. Interpretation: There is a couple photos that have like a glare to the image but it is still black and white with the filter that I had applied onto it. Judgement: I really like these photos just because of the black and white that I put on these. My favorite one would be of my moms puzzle. It also shows like the lines in it. The wood flooring has a shadow on it too. |
